Lisa Nitti has been working as a translator and conference interpreter offering simultaneous, consecutive and whispering interpretation services from and into Italian, English and Russian since 1990. A native speaker of Italian, she graduated in Conference Interpretation from the Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators of the University of Trieste, Italy, in 1989. Lisa started travelling to the UK and Russia in her early teens and later she was a visiting student at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh and at the Institute of Foreign Languages Maurice Thorez, Moscow. She has taught mediation and simultaneous and consecutive interpretation from and into English and Italian and from Russian into Italian at various universities, including the Civica Scuola Interpreti e Traduttori “A. Spinelli” in Milan and the State University of Milan.
Interpreti e Traduttori was set up in 1998 to offer a full range of translation services, in all main language combinations, with a focus on corporate management, economics, finance, law and medicine. In the era of digital innovation, Lisa has developed new technical skills and acquired experience in distance interpreting, both simultaneous (RSI) and consecutive, and in managing online and hybrid events. |
